We're an independent, locally-run guide to the best hair salons, beauty studios, massage therapists and day spas in Chatswood — made by people who actually book these chairs.
What Chatswood.luxe is
Chatswood.luxe is a hand-kept edit of the best hair, beauty, massage and day spas on the lower North Shore. We're not a booking franchise or an automated scraper — just locals who were forever being asked "who do you go to for…?" and decided to write the answers down.
Who's behind it
We're a small, independent team based around Chatswood. Between us we've sat in a lot of salon chairs, tried a lot of facials and booked more than a few massages to undo a desk job — so the recommendations here come from genuine local experience, not a media kit.
How we choose what to list
Our goal is to be the guide we'd want ourselves. So:
- Local first. We list businesses that genuinely operate in Chatswood and the surrounding North Shore.
- Recommended, not advertised. Standard listings are free and editorial — a salon can't pay to be called good.
- Qualified & legitimate. For health and cosmetic services (remedial massage, injectables and the like), we favour appropriately qualified, nurse- or doctor-led providers.
- Kept current. We review listings regularly and remove places that close or consistently let people down.
- Clearly labelled. Anything sponsored or affiliate-linked is marked Featured so you always know what you're looking at.
How we stay free (and make money)
Chatswood.luxe is free to use and always will be. We cover our costs in two transparent ways:

- Optional Featured listings for businesses that want more visibility — always clearly labelled.
